A Passion for Handmade
My name is Katrina and I have been making things with my hands my entire life. I enjoy the stillness it brings me, while opening up a world of creative ideas. I got my start in leather working at the tender age of 12 in Vacation Bible school. As life continued to fly by those fond memories long forgotten, until a customer walked into my screen printing shop, asking for a design that incorporated leather. Those childhood memories came flooding back and led me to a whole new chapter in my life.
My first leather creations were pieces that I made specifically to solve a problem. (My own of course!) As family, friends, and even strangers saw my work as I went about my day, I started getting requests to make more, and soon a new business venture was born.
The products you see in my shop today, was inspired from my own needs. A desire to have the right item for the job. I like a simple design, that is also highly functional, as well as looks good. :) I incorporated my love of leather with many different fabrics such as waxed canvas, and timeless designs that will only get better with age.
I select the best leather from American Tanneries, and go over every inch of the design details to ensure you get a quality item that will last a lifetime.
Nothing brings me more joy than when a customer receives their item, then sends me a personal message on how happy they are with their purchase. What an amazing feeling, and it motivates me to continue doing what I love most, creating timeless pieces for my customers!
